I mop, you mop…..we mop! I have decided to share more with you on my…
Why all the Norwex Mop Pad Options?
Are you overwhelmed by just looking in the catalog at all the Norwex Mop Pad Options? I know that there are A LOT! Norwex has all these “moptions”, and how do you know which ones are the RIGHT ones for you???? Well, today, I am going to help you figure that all out. We are going to look into the nitty-gritty of ALL the NORWEX mop pads so you can decide if you just want two…or if you need them ALL!!!
Before we dive in about mop pads though, please know that the Norwex mop system comes in TWO different sizes – so a large (mop pads are 52 cm x 15cm) and a mini (34 cm x 15cm), so you can decide what size works best for you and your home.
Let’s begin….
DRY Superior Mop Pad
This pad is perfect to do a sweep of your floors. I use this one almost daily to pick up the smallest of dirt particles left on my floors. The microfiber is statically charged and honestly picks up dust better than my vacuum.
This comes in a few different color options. The Nordic Naturals Champagne color doesn’t have the yellow trim but it will say “DRY” on the trim. The yellow and gray Superior Dry Mop Pads both have yellow to indicate “Yellow, Sunny, DRY” at a quick glance. Currently, in the large size, it comes in yellow, graphite, or champagne. The mini does not come in the Nordic Naturals color scheme.
WET Mop Pad
This product is one of the first things that sold me on Norwex. With the silver-embedded BacLock Technology, all you need to use is WATER and your floors will be sparkling clean. NO cleaner is required, which truly blows my mind!! I have used this on hardwood, tile, vinyl, and bamboo floors, as well as for cleaning walls! Every time, I am always so impressed. Sometimes, I will have something stuck on the kitchen floor that I think will not come off, but with just a bit more elbow grease (or the “foot manuever, as I call it, of pushing down slightly on the top of the mop), it all comes off without a problem.
The best thing is that you do NOT need to use a lot of water – just a little dampness goes a long way. Similar to the Dry Superior Mop Pad – the graphite Wet Mop Pad has a TEAL Trim so you know quickly, at a glance, which pad you are using. Teal reminds me of the ocean, like “Blue, Water, WET“. The Nordic Naturals wet mop pad, however, comes in the rose quartz color. Again, the mini mop is not available in the Nordic Naturals colors.
TILE Mop Pad Option
I was a doubter on this one. Not gonna lie. I did not believe I would benefit from having a separate pad for the tile. I fully thought that my Wet mop pad was doing just fine on ALL my floors.
Well, I stand corrected. What I like about this mop pad is that it has extra nylon fibers mixed in with the microfiber so it just has a little extra scrubbing power. It can get into the grooves and grout on your tile better than the Wet Mop Pad. Again, you only need to use water with it. No cleaners are required. And, like the Wet Mop Pad, a little water goes a long way.
Chenille Dry Mop Option
In truth, I use this one the least, but I think that is because it does such a great job! This one looks like a Muppet to me with all its extra-long chenille microfiber. I use this one on my baseboards, walls, but I MOST RECOMMEND this for my customers who have fur babies who shed. It has proven AMAZING at sweeping up pet hair! It is also great on floors or walls that have texture to them as with the long microfibers it is easier to get into those hard-to-reach grooves. Here’s a photo that was shared by a fellow consultant. This shows the retired green Chenille Mop Pad- it now comes in Graphite color.
Window Cloth Mop Pad Option
YES!! I use this on my WINDOWS!! I love the versatility that Norwex has made by making their products MULTIFUNCTIONAL! This attaches to your mop base and can reach all those HIGH windows in your house! The microfiber is incredibly tightly woven and smooth and this also has the amazing Norwex BacLock Technology. With only a little water, your windows will be sparkling clean. This is my favorite for all of the doggy nose art that Pepper leaves for us on our windows (a.k.a. doggy nose prints)! I love it on the short handle for this purpose, as I show in the video.
The newest addition – Rubber Broom Attachment!
I was so excited to see this launch with our new Catalog in August. You can check out my recent blog post focusing on all the amazing things that this broom does!! But for a quick overview – It truly is a must-have for hair, pets and so much more! I love that one side has a multifunctional broom on one side, and the other side is a squeegee. It is SOOOO versatile. The electrostatic action that it creates with the rubber bristles is perfect on the floors or carpets with dirt or hair, and then flip it over and you can dry your windows. It also comes with a one-year warranty! Norwex stands behind its products.
That is an overview of our Norwex Mop Pads. But here are some extra little bits of info that I wanted to share with you…..
Rubber Brush
I would HIGHLY recommend that you also get the Rubber Brush with the Norwex Mop System. This is different from our new rubber broom. The rubber brush is a small handheld brush that can be used to clean all our mop pads between uses. It is easy to brush over and put the debris in the trash, as well as recharging the static cling that makes the mop pads works so well. It is also great to use on furniture or rugs to remove debris or pet hair!
How to wash your Norwex Mop Pads
The mop pads CAN ALL be washed in the washing machine and reused OVER and OVER. I wash mine with the Norwex Ultra Power Plus Laundry Detergent and they come out clean every time. They can even be dried in the dryer, making them SUPER easy to care for! I have used mine for about 2 years before I felt I needed to replace them – think about the COST SAVINGS!
Would you like to get the mop system for free?
I know this was a long post – but I hope you got some insight into how great the Norwex Superior Mop System really is superior. If you want to get the Norwex Mop for FREE, as it can get a bit costly, contact me and I can help you out with that!
