Norwex Rubber Broom for the WIN!

Do I really need another broom?

I’m not sure how many brooms you have so far, but I think the quick answer is yes. If it’s the right kind. The Norwex Rubber Broom will hold it’s own!

Do I need THE Norwex RUBBER broom?

Yes, absolutely, without a doubt. And I am going to tell you why but first, if truth be told… 

I was not completely sure about this when I first pulled it out of my Norwex New Product box. I already have and use the handheld Norwex Rubber Brush, so wasn’t positive that I needed another one. Would it be awkward with it being so long and attached to the bottom of my Norwex telescopic mop handle? Well, I quickly fell in love. I love how STURDY this Norwex Rubber Broom is and how quickly & easily it cleans! And the brush bristles are JUST RIGHT. Not too firm, and not too soft. This thing is FABULOUS and great for things I didn’t expect, especially with the rubber squeegee on the flip side. 

First of all, it is so easy to attach to the Norwex Mop Handle. Just push in the two little side buttons, slide off the mop base (watch my video for a quick how-to) and insert the new rubber mop base.  First thing, I went around my house trying it on various surfaces, with more of a pulling/brushing motion, rather than a sweeping motion. It picked up more hair and dust than I knew I had on my floor, especially in the dining room under the table.?The firm yet soft rubber bristles picked up so much on my entry rug that my vacuum had missed.  I was impressed, but still not 100% sold at this point….

How about outdoors? Norwex Rubber Broom for the win?

Then, I decided to try it outside… I quickly swept around our pool and it got quite a bit of the dirt and small rocks that we were missed by my generic outdoor broom, and then, as I was cleaning – my kids decided to cannonball into the pool, splashing water was EVERYwhere! I quickly turned the brush over to the squeegee side, and voilà! Goodbye water puddles, hello clean pool decking… I can’t wait to try it out on our garage floor! ?I love that it works both on dry messes, as well as wet messes and spills.

Carpet anyone?

Most of our house is wood floors and tile flooring, but we have some carpet in the bedroom. I don’t love it. It is what the builder put in, so it really needs to be replaces, as it’s looking less than beautiful. So next, I tried it on the carpet. Yes, on my matted-down, builder-cheap carpet (the stuff I hope we can replace with wood floors soon!). Again, for this, I used a more pull-back motion, and  It picked up all the fuzz that my vacuum had missed and refluffed the carpet, too. I am blown away.

So, there is my experience so far in this short amount of time. Despite my initial doubts about whether this would earn a spot in my broom closet, this rubber broom is way more multifunctional than I first anticipated. 

Fur Babies? Pet Hair taking over? RV or camper?

For those of you who have fur babies, I think you’ll quickly become obsessed with how well it picks up pet hair! And for all of my hairstylist friends, this rubber broom will be a game-changer for clean-up between clients. And a shout out to all my northern midwestern friends… it also works wonders for getting snow off the windshield. And for farmers– great for reaching the tractor windshields! You’ll love this brush/squeegee combo!

We are new to chicken ownership, but it didn’t take us too long to realize that these adorable creatures can be a bit messy!
