The Norwex Dish Cloths makes doing dishes so much more tolerable. What are the differences…
Let me COUNT the ways on how much I love my Norwex COUNTER cloths!
This is not kindergarten, but we are seriously going to do some counting today. I am going to COUNT all the ways that I love our Norwex Counter Cloths. And, there are more than a few – so I will try and keep it to a minimum.
But first, let’s talk about WHY we need the Norwex Counter Cloths….. they replace daily use paper towel products – sustainability matters. With Norwex, you can choose reusable in place of consumable. Before Norwex, we used paper towels daily and out of convenience. We grabbed them to wipe up spills, clean noses, used them as napkins, and whatever else we could think of. But our little paper towel habit costed us a LOT of money! We were just used to making them our habitual go-to, and we didn’t realize the damage they do to our planet. So first, let’s start our counting on some paper towel fact… I don’t like this side of counting, but it needs to be done.
Paper Towel Stats are Scary
Did you know, it takes roughly 17 trees and 20,0000 gallons of water to make 1 ton of paper towels!
The average household goes through 2 rolls of paper towels a week. Can you believe it?? 2 rolls a week! Although the carbon footprint of one paper towel is not huge, when you add up the WHOLE LIFE CYCLE of each paper towel – from cutting about 51,000 trees DAILY to the water required to manufacture them, it sure adds up. We could then count how many weeks each paper towel is in a landfill taking up space. Seriously – these are not good numbers to count….. Not to mention the COST of constantly purchasing more paper towels. It is literally like throwing cash in the trash!
Why I love Norwex Counter Cloths
Let me count the ways…
Count 1
These clothes are made from 70% RECYCLED products which include microfiber yarn and close to the equivalent of two 500 ml plastic bottles. Wowza, these cloths are helping the environment just by being made – using up extra materials that were just going to waste. They are also certified under Oeko-Tex that they are free from harmful substances.
Count 2
When you look closely, you will see that the weave of the fabric is a little bit different than some of the other Norwex cloths. This is done on purpose so that they can be extra absorbent when dealing with spills – even better than their paper nemesis. The fiber absorbs about 7x its weight!
Count 3
Just like our other microfiber, our Counter Cloths are packed with all of the Norwex goodness in them with our BacLock Technology and the fiber technology to not transfer stuff from surface to surface. Instead of relying on chemicals, these micro silver-embedded fibers have antibacterial properties to self-clean between uses. So you can have peace of mind when you are wiping up those spills that you are truly CLEANING the surfaces as you go.
Count 4
You can use and reuse! If you follow their care guide, these cloths can last you a life time. I usually use one for a few days, and then throw it in the wash. I simply use, rinse out and wipe against itself, and let it air dry and then its ready for the next time it needs to be used.
Count 5
Ummm….have you seen the colors? They are available in sets of 3 for $22.99 and the color packs are slate, mushroom, vanilla OR sea mist, navy, teal OR amethyst, vanilla, and mushroom. How can you not love those options?
Count 6
Yes, the Counter Cloth Box Set is the BEST thing ever. It comes with 6 cloths (color set of your choice) and the cutest little holder shaped as a house! It looks so cute sitting on my counter! And it is easy to grab a clean cloth, and also works well to lay one over the top to let it air dry. This cute set is currently $59.99. And, I recommend ordering an additional set of 3 cloths to fill the house a bit more full.
Are you ready to make the switch to Norwex Counter Cloths?
OK, have I counted enough ways? I sure hope so, but if I have not please let me know. I am here to help you find ways to help make our environment a better place and your home a safer haven! Norwex Counter Cloths are one of the BEST places to start.
I will admit, that it does take a little bit of training your way of “thought” when it comes to using them. I would suggest that you remove the paper towels from your counter completely, and you will be happily surprised at what may happen. You may look back and realize that you haven’t bought paper towels for months!
