Can Norwex help with getting Back To School?
WOOOOHOOOOOOO or is it BOOHOOOOOOO???!!??? This is a No Judgement Zone! …but are you a woohooo-er or boohoo-er when it comes to back to school? Does it bring you joy to get back into school routine or are you sad to see summer come to an end? Norwex Back To School tips may help with the transition back into school routine!
Personally, I am a bit of both. I LOVE having the kids home during the summer months, but I am also ready for them to go back to school. The summer holiday is THREE HOT MONTHS long down here in Texas, and the days add up after a while.
We have made some amazing summer memories – especially with having the Ranch, but I am ready to get our routine back on and for school to start. I know I will miss the sounds of their voices and laughter in the house, but I will not miss the sounds of their video games! I think the boys are ready, also. I have noticed that they are getting a bit anxious to get their school supplies ordered and their bags ready to go.
I thought it would be a good time to review some of my very favorite Norwex back-to-school items, both for students and teachers in the classrooms. Some of them are MUST-haves for your kids’ backpacks or for their classroom.
We are going to do a quick look into a few of those things.
Travel EnviroCloth
These little Enviros are PERFECT for wiping things down quickly. They are a smaller version of our amazing EnviroCloth™. You can find them on page 66 of our catalog.
They are great to use on desks before class starts – just spray with water, and wipe – and as with all of our microfiber, removes up to 99% of the bacteria from the surface (when following the proper care and use instructions). Definitely, essentials to have in the car, in the backpack, in their locker… so quick and easy!
Sportzyme
Well, I have 4 boys, and I can promise you that their shoes do not always smell like roses….especially after all day at school and sports!
Norwex Sportzyme, part of the Norwex Enzyme Cleaner Line, is my saving grace some days. This also works great on volleyball kneepad stink, dance shoes, hockey gear, FB gear… and all the other Sportster stinks.
Use this on their shoes, equipment, bags – you name it. You just spray on, and the enzymes and biodegradable ingredients go right to work to get rid of anything stinky – no harmful chemicals are used! (And when you fall in love with this product, be sure to check out the rest of the Norwex enzyme line!! They’re all amazing!)
Optic scarf
There are a few things that I love about this cleaning cloth. No water or cleaning solution is required (although some customers like to use it with a spray bottle of water- it’s your call).
Just take off your glasses and wipe them down — smudges-be-gone. It is a super soft microfiber that will not leave residue and removes smudges, dirt, fingerprints, whatever! It’s great for cleaning ipads, laptop screens, phones and sunglasses, too!
Thankfully, it clips right to your bag – and comes in a variety of fun patterns/ colors! It will not scratch your glasses! Yes, it’s even safe on anti-glare!
Did you know that cell phones can contain ten times the bacteria found on a toilet seat? Yes, everyone needs an Optic Scarf handy to clean phone screens often and thoroughly. (The Tech Cleaning Cloth and Case is another excellent option, as well, which I’ll cover below.) This super handy cloth won’t damage screens, and they’re easy to take with you anywhere.
Hand Sanitzer
In regards to the world we’re living in right now, this is one of our best back-to-school items. With the toll that the virus has taken, we are all on guard against germs. Many hand sanitizers do NOT have healthy ingredients and can do such damage to your skin, especially when our children use them repeatedly ALL.DAY.LONG. Our Norwex Hand Sanitizer is made with ethanol-based alcohol, Aloe Vera, and glycerin, which partner together to sanitize, but also moisturize your hands. It’s proven to kill 99% of germs! https://sonyaeckel.norwex.biz/en_US/customer/shop/product-detail/403300
Tech Cleaning Cloth
Next, here is another must-have in each backpack. It is a staple for keeping phones, iPads, computers, and glasses clean, and it comes with its own carrying case to help keep it clean between uses. It removes the fingerprints and smudges off their devices and, it doesn’t scratch. I also like that it has the silicone dots on one side – this really helps my kids be able to control their cleaning sp they do not drop their devices…which is every parent’s nightmare with the price of devices these days!
NEW Lysere Prebiotic Charcoal Deodorant!
This may not apply to all, but those of you looking for a GREAT pre-teen, middle schoolers or teenager deodorant that works great but doesn’t have all the potentially toxic ingredients, be sure to give this new deodorant a try! Our family is LOVING it! You can find my earlier Norwex deodorant review here: https://bestcleaningcloth.com/new-norwex-deodorant-does-it-work/
Face Masks
Now here’s a topic that isn’t quite as fun, but if your children are required to wear masks, as our boys were last year, the Norwex masks get TOP reviews! Not only do they have the microsilver embedded, but they are (according to my boys) the most comfortable mask they tried and have much higher filtration compared to most other cloth masks. If you’re looking for a good children’s mask to try, I’d say to give the Norwex BacLock Masks a try. https://sonyaeckel.norwex.biz/en_US/customer/shop/product-detail/IN2047
In conclusion, these are just a few items that I think will help you WOOHOOO your way back into the school routine! Drop a comment below- are you in the Woohoo or the Boohoo back-to-school camp? We’re dropping my oldest son off at college this weekend… I think I’ll be in the boohoo camp for a bit on that, but super excited for him! Stay tuned on an upcoming blog about what Norwex to send with college kids!
As always, let me know if you have any questions, and I am happy to help you!
