Norwex Pre Wash on Chocolate

When I came out to the kitchen, I found my 3 year old’s shirt covered with chocolate.

Chocolate on shirtNow if it were a small stain, I’d first reach for a damp Enviro Cloth to simply wipe it off, but this job looked a bit too much for that.  So, looking at the positive side, I thought what a perfect challenge for the Norwex Pre Wash!

So first I sprayed all of the stains with the Norwex Prewash:  Chocolate stains presprayed with Norwex PreWash.  Then I let it set for about 10-20 minutes.  I then put it in a load of “mediums”, using 1 teaspoon of the Norwex Ultra Power Plus Laundry Detergent.  (We only use 1/2 -1 teaspoon of Norwex Laundry Detergent per load in our front-loading HE washing machine!  Then I forgot to check it for stains before throwing it into the dryer, so I was relieved when I took it out of the dryer and…. Ta-da! Clean again! .    Norwex Laundry DetergentNorwex Laundry Prespray

*Please note, if you have an HE washing machine still under warranty, the Norwex detergent is not yet labeled for HE washers, so using it may void your warranty.  Which isn’t something we want, so if you’re under warranty, we recommend using only HE labeled detergent if that’s what your warranty states.  Per our Norwex Customer Service Department:  “Our Laundry detergent does not state HE on the package but is compatible with HE machines as it has no fillers and is low sud-sing; we do not recommend people who’s washing machines are still under warranty to use our detergent for the reason we don’t want them to lose the warranty on their machines. After the warranty period people with HE machine can safely use our laundry detergent.”

OK- I just had to add one more thing to this post!  I am now an even bigger fan of our pre-treat & laundry detergent!!  You know how hard it is to get mud stains out of clothes, right?  Well, my 2 oldest came home from a bike ride with these horrendous mud stains on their shirts.  I presprayed them, let them set about 10 min, threw them in the sink with concentrated Norwex Laundry detergent to soak overnight.  (I wanted to be *sure* to save these shirts so I took double precautions!!) The next day, I laundered them as usual.  Take a look at the photos:    Mud after bike riding... P1110588 Can you believe it?  I’m a happy mama.  :)

Norwex Cloths- Gotta Have ‘Em!

Ashley, from Sioux Falls, recently wrote: “Hello Sonya! I have to tell you…. I’ve been using the face cloth I won and my face has never looked so good… I wish I would have had this when I was a teenager! Also, I’m thoroughly impressed with the antibac cloth I won. The night I got home I was running around cleaning like mad because it was so fun and I remembered some horrible tar spots I had on my carpet. I’d tried everything on them and they wouldn’t come up. I figured “hey… I just won this so if I ruin it I won’t be out anything” so I gave the cloth a shot and they all came out!!! I’m sold! I also loved the detergent! I had a stinky armband for my ipod and nothing took the smell out until I tried this!” Norwex Cloths - Rainbow Package

And thanks to Angela, also of Sioux Falls, who called to tell me how excited she is about using the Norwex Enviro Cloth to clean her microfiber couch… with just water! She even sent a snap shot of the difference between a cleaned and not-yet-cleaned areas!  Angela said:  “Previously I did try using an old towel to clean the ottoman, but it made no difference.  Once I cleaned it with the basic cloth (a small yellow one from the “travel kit”), it removed the soil & the water spots. I drew a line with my finger against the nap to clearly define where I had cleaned…though that wasn’t really necessary.” microfiber couch

And as you can imagine, with a household of boys, we frequently get to put Norwex to the test!!  Here’s a photo of *something* very sticky & very stuck into our dining room rug!  (An unidentified substance!) I sprayed it with JUST WATER and gently “massaged” it with my Norwex Enviro Cloth, and Presto!

Carpet Stain BEFORE Norwex! It came out! Stain GONE after Norwex Enviro Cloth & water!Who knew!!? With just a “magic” Norwex cloth & water!

Cleaning your stove

Thanks to Jaclyn in Illinois for sharing these photos of her stove before and after being “Norwexed”!  She said she had tried multiple other products to try to clean the burner areas, but did not have success.

Jaclyn shared that she cleaned this with a WET Norwex spirinett & then cleaned with a Norwex cloth.  (Always use your spirinettes wet!)  I’m typically very cautious about using our spirinettes since they are powerful stainless steel scrubbers, and I recommend ALWAYS testing them on an inconspicuous area before proceeding.  They are, after all, stainless steel & should never be used on surfaces that scratch easily, such as porcelain.

These before and after pictures tell Jaclyn’s stove story the best:

Stove Before Norwex Stove After Norwex

Wow!  I always love to share before & after pictures like these, so if you have a “Norwex miracle”, please feel free to share!

If you are concerned about scratching a surface like your stove top, another fantastic cleaning option is the cleaning paste with either the Norwex Enviro cloth or the Norwex Kitchen Scrub cloth.  (Again, always recommended to test an inconspicuous area first.)

More Customer Feedback!

I am just back from a fantastic trip to Florida where I met some more amazing people- I’m so excited to see the good news about Norwex spreading throughout the southern states.  We can use *your* help in bringing Norwex to America! I wanted to take a moment to share some feedback that I received from a customer yesterday.  (By the way, I always love to hear your review of the Norwex products… I have learned so much from my customers on ways that they have found these products to be fantastic!)

Susan M. from Asheville, North Carolina shared: “Hey, Sonya!  One of my cats promptly threw up a HUGE hairball last night and I used the blue Norwex cloth and it took the stain out of the carpet like magic.  I usually have to put oxyclean on the carpet but this time only water and the Norwex cloth got that nasty orangey stain right out and it didn’t wick back up through the carpet as it usually does.  I’m IMPRESSED!

Another customer shared a synopsis of how she felt as she was introduced to Norwex:
1) Skepticism (when she received an invite to a party)
2) Intrigue (as she did a bit of online research)
3) WOW!!! (after seeing Norwex products in action at her first Norwex party)

So many of us can completely relate to this!!  I hope you all have a wonderful Christmas season!  Thanks for reading.  Check back often!

Dirty Upholstery? Norwex to the rescue!

Do your fabric or microfiber couches, chairs, and other upholstery need some cleaning?
Check out what just the Norwex Enviro Cloth and water can do!  cleaning dirty upholstery with Norwex

On my recent trip to California, I had the opportunity to take on the stains on this ivory chair upholstery with just an Enviro cloth & water!  Guess which side we cleaned!  :) I simply sprayed the left side with water & proceeded to wipe it clean with just a damp Enviro cloth!  Please DO try this at home… and prepare to be amazed.

For those of us with pets and/or children, we can appreciate that cloth upholstery doesn’t always stay so pristine looking.  I’ve gotten tons of positive feedback from customers telling me the miraculous transformation after using the Enviro cloth with water… (and occasionally a little Norwex carpet cleaner (Carpet Stain Buster) is warranted- especially if pet stains).  At a recent party, the hostess was raving about how well the Enviro cleans her microfiber chair, and she said she loves to use the Rubber Brush to sort of freshen the nap of the microfiber, too!

And while we’re talking about the miracles that the Norwex cloths can do, let’s talk about carpet stains!  I have been amazed by the variety of stains I’ve been able to get out of carpets with just a Norwex Enviro Cloth and water… pet stains, black grease stains left from chairs, tar, and more!  And of course, we have the Carpet Stain Buster for the extra stubborn, organic stains.  Simply spray the stain liberally with water and then use a damp Enviro cloth to gently massage out the stain (don’t scrub, just a gentle blotting works well).  Voila!!  Just a few more reasons Norwex will make your life easier!
