Norwex Leather Cleaner and Protectant

We are constantly hearing a new customer testimonial about our Norwex Leather Shine!  The Leather Shine naturally cleans,
restores and beautifies your leathers without the use
of man-made waxes or harmful chemicals. It’s excellent for
boots, belts, purses, baseball mitts, leather gloves,
saddles or anything else made of leather (but not recommended for suede leather).

It’s made with pure bee wax (so it smells a bit like honey!), carnauba wax, & lanoline.  It actually penetrates leather to restore natural oils, helps to waterproof it (the lanolin helps with this), & moisturizes and protects. The Norwex Leather Shine can also be used on rubber and hard plastic to restore luster (i.e. car tires).

How to use it: Dab the sponge onto the balm and apply sparingly – a little goes a long way!  Apply to the surface with the black pad and then polish with the white pad until glossy.  REMEMBER: use it only for smooth leather, NOT on suede leather.

Of course,  nothing beats before & after photos!  Check out theses results!

Here is a photo of my sister, Shari’s, leather couch- I’m going to let you guess which cushions she cleaned using the Norwex Leather Shine!  :)  What a fantastic product!

Photo shared by Lisa B., Cedar Rapids, IA- not only are these the cutest cowboy boots ever, it’s amazing what a difference the Leather Shine made!  The one on the right looks like new!

So you’re getting the idea of how rejuvenating, hydrating, and protective the Norwex Leather Shine is on LEATHER… now wait till you see some of the before and after photos after using it to re-hydrate wood! Thanks to Cindy M (Illinois)!

We are loving the results on wood surfaces, too!  (As with all Norwex products, we recommend that you always try it in an inconspicuous area first if in doubt.)  :) Call me today to order your Norwex leather polish

How do Norwex cloths work?

Do Norwex cloths do what we say they do?  And how do they work?

Norwex microfibers thoroughly clean MECHANICALLY by removing dust, grease & grime rather than chemically cleaning!!  This is incredibly exciting as we see more and more confirmation of the detriment chemical cleaners are having on our health and our environment!   Buy Norwex Cloths Online 24/7!

The Norwex fibers are microscopically small (think about 1/200-1/250th the size of one single human hair!!), and reach into the teeniest, tiniest crevices!  Then the Norwex microfiber traps and holds on to the dirt, grease, and grime, until you wash out the cloth.   Using JUST WATER and a Norwex cloth, you can clean your home using only water.  The density of these cloths are phenomenal- about 1700 MILES of microfiber in each Enviro Cloth!!

And the naturally antimicrobial silver agent embedded into the fibers of the Enviro cloth microfiber is just one more reason that makes Norwex amazing!   It inhibits the growth of microscopic organisms within the cloth.

I invite you to try Norwex for yourself!  Remember:  Norwex stands behind their incredible products with a 60 day satisfaction guarantee!  That’s how much we know you will love these products and that they WILL improve your quality of life!  Order your own set of Norwex cleaning cloths today!  You’ll be so glad you did!  I strive to provide excellent customer service and I’m happy to answer questions that you may have about our Norwex products.  Don’t hesitate to call:  605.271.1814.  You’re welcome to place your order by phone, as well.  We ship anywhere in the USA or Canada for just $5.95!!

New 2010 Fall Products are Here!

New 2010 Fall Products are Here!

I’m excited to unveil the NEW 2010 Fall Products!  Children are our future!  We want them to learn safe, chemical-free ways of cleaning, as well as instilling an enjoyment of cleaning.  Well Norwex has once again came with the answer.  Give them their very own Norwex products so they can learn and love to “Norwex the house”!  The children mop is a favorite, to be sure, as well as the mitt that is sized just for little hands.  And the kid-friendly colors are great!  The kids back pack is the perfect place for them to carry “their” cleaning supplies, and also perfect for lunches or trips to the park.

The veggie and fruit scrub cloth is back by popular demand!  This cloth has been proven to remove some pretty nasty stuff from our fruits and vegetables.  It’s also great in conjunction with our Fresh Wash.  For certain produce (i.e. broccoli), you need the Fresh Wash.  This cloth helps remove the “bio film” from our fruits and veggies!

The Lint Mitt is perfect size for tucking in your purse and taking on travel.  It works great!

The Norwex Washing Net bag is great for storing clean Norwex cloths, as well as for collecting, laundering, and drying the soiled cloths.  Very sturdy and well made, this bag will make laundering your Norwex microfiber even easier!

Last but no least… the suede, antibac make-up removal cloths.  These are great for sensitive skin around the eye area (as well as for those of you with sensitive skin!).  Stains wash out more easily than the Body Pack Cloths due to the tight weave.  These are perfect for traveling, too!

Call or email me today if you have any questions about our new products.  And feel free to order online or via phone or email.  I look forward to assisting you!

Dirty Upholstery? Norwex to the rescue!

Do your fabric or microfiber couches, chairs, and other upholstery need some cleaning?
Check out what just the Norwex Enviro Cloth and water can do!  cleaning dirty upholstery with Norwex

On my recent trip to California, I had the opportunity to take on the stains on this ivory chair upholstery with just an Enviro cloth & water!  Guess which side we cleaned!  :) I simply sprayed the left side with water & proceeded to wipe it clean with just a damp Enviro cloth!  Please DO try this at home… and prepare to be amazed.

For those of us with pets and/or children, we can appreciate that cloth upholstery doesn’t always stay so pristine looking.  I’ve gotten tons of positive feedback from customers telling me the miraculous transformation after using the Enviro cloth with water… (and occasionally a little Norwex carpet cleaner (Carpet Stain Buster) is warranted- especially if pet stains).  At a recent party, the hostess was raving about how well the Enviro cleans her microfiber chair, and she said she loves to use the Rubber Brush to sort of freshen the nap of the microfiber, too!

And while we’re talking about the miracles that the Norwex cloths can do, let’s talk about carpet stains!  I have been amazed by the variety of stains I’ve been able to get out of carpets with just a Norwex Enviro Cloth and water… pet stains, black grease stains left from chairs, tar, and more!  And of course, we have the Carpet Stain Buster for the extra stubborn, organic stains.  Simply spray the stain liberally with water and then use a damp Enviro cloth to gently massage out the stain (don’t scrub, just a gentle blotting works well).  Voila!!  Just a few more reasons Norwex will make your life easier!

Shine and Clean with Norwex Cleaning Paste

cl_pasteOur Norwex Cleaning Paste is a fantastic non-toxic cleaner that provides mild, chemical-free abrasion to polish, sine, and clean.  Just today I was cleaning our basement laundry sink- which I’ve tried many times to clean, but hadn’t yet tried the Norwex Cleaning Paste, Kitchen Scrub Cloth, and Spirinetts.  Now let me tell you, this sink has been extremely well-used over the years!!  Paint.  Caulk.  Grime.  Hard-water build-up.  Not too pretty.  So, I’m going to input a photo of what I accomplished in a short time with the Cleaning Paste, Kitchen Scrub Cloth, and Spirinetts.  And around the faucet, I used the DeScaler to cut through some of the hard-water deposits.  basement laundry sink
It was an amazing improvement!  Now I need to go down and finish the other half.  :)

A bit more about the Norwex Cleaning Paste.   It is definitely one of our most popular cleaning products.  One of my favorite things is that  I can identify & pronounce all four of the ingredients:  Marble Flour, Chalk, Natural Soap, Traces of Coconut Oil.   The cleaning paste will replace your Ajax, Comet, SoftScrub, and other chemical abrasive cleaners.  It polishes, cleans, and protects!  It’s great to use on plastic, stainless steel, aluminum, porcelain, tile, painted surfaces, enamel, chrome, coffee pots, glassware and food storage products.  It is NOT recommended for cleaning brass, silver, and acrylic.  NOTE The cleaning paste is extremely gentle, but it is still mildly abrasive.  While it’s safe to use on most surfaces, as with all of our cleaning products, Norwex recommends you first test an inconspicuous area if you are concerned about the possibility of scratching.

The Cleaning Paste becomes a “paste” once you have rubbed your wet Enviro, Kitchen Cloth, Spirisponge (or whatever cloth you are using with it) on the compact “chunk” in the container.  It is not liquid or powder, but rather is hard and compact in the container.  I find that it lasts a *very* long time, making it not only a safe & effective cleaning option, but also a very economical choice ($28.99 for a canister that will last you a LONG time)!!   Once you have accumulated the product on  your cloth, clean & polish the surface.  Then collect any residual Cleaning Paste by going over it with an Enviro cloth and a Polishing Cloth to leave a streak-free, beautifully polished surface.

I find it’s great for built-up soap scum, rust stains, tile, and some hard water stains in bathrooms (although this is where the Norwex DeScaler really shines!!).  In the kitchen, I love mine to polish up stainless steel or white/ beige sinks and faucets.  I also have many customers who absolutely love it for their smooth-top stoves.  (To clean my flat-top stove, I use the Cleaning Paste with the Kitchen Scrub Cloth and it works great!)  PLEASE NOTE:   Although I have many customers who love the paste for their stovetops, Candi Bezte mentions below that it may be too abrasive for some of the new enamel or ceramic stove tops, so ALWAYS be sure to test a small inconspicuous area first!

Here’s what Candi Bezte writes about the cleaning paste:

“Spring” Cleaning Paste!

It really is amazing how well the Cleaning Paste works! It gets the worst scuffs/marks off fiberglass tubs, marks off vinyl flooring, or that permanent ink that mysteriously may get on the kitchen counter! It will take rust out of stainless steel sinks and off plastic dishwasher walls, and even remove permanent ink off white board.  It is fantastic for those “normal” cleaning  jobs such as getting the soap scum out of your tub or shower.  Considering you need to use so little…one container of Cleaning Paste really goes a long way! It is nice to use a cleaning product that is not a liquid (eliminating possibility of inhaling while using) – just a damp Envirocloth, a small dab of paste, and you’re good to go!

How does this amazing product work? It contains some soaps and a very small amount of sodium laureth sulphate combined with marble fl our and chalk (calcium carbonate) which result in a very slightly abrasive product that has the ability to also remove grease. The majority of the work is simply the result of very mild abrasion – similar to the Micro Pad. The paste basically functions like ultrasuperfine sandpaper, with a bit of soap added to it.

CAUTION: Since the Cleaning Paste is mildly abrasive, always test in an inconspicuous spot before using. Not recommended for use on acrylic surfaces, brushed stainless steel, the new enameled or ceramic stovetops or other delicate surfaces. The Cleaning Paste is a physical scrubber and is not intended to be an everyday use product; it is intended only for stains and marks that do NOT come off with regular soap and water or the Enviro and water!

Another Rave Norwex Review

Thank you, Sonya, for a great start to my spring cleaning with the Norwex cloths. The light is radiant through our clean windows, the smudges are gone from our doors and other high touch areas, our enviroscomputers and shelves are dusted, and the shower and bath fresh. I loved that I didn’t have to spray before wiping and just picked up with the damp cloth. So, to double check, I went back to the same surfaces with my generic store bought microfiber towel. It was double the work. The generic didn’t grab dust and lint. It just moved it around; whereas, your Norwex grabbed the grime and marks.Thank you for a great product that I will pass on with confidence. I am seriously looking at the floor microfiber mops to add to my new simply clean and chemical free cleaning arsenal.

The incredible water-deposit-remover!

The Norwex DeScaler. descalerI’ve known how incredible this product is for making glass shower doors sparkle again (by removing lime build-up, etc.), but recently I was very excited when I was able to remove the build-up around the base of my faucet handles (especially the hot water side).  I’ve previously tried soaking it with vinegar-soaked paper towels, which sort of worked, but was a pain.  I was thrilled to see that by spraying the area, letting it set for a few minutes (while I went around spraying Descaler on the other places that I was going to clean) & then wiping it off with my Enviro cloth (followed by the window cloth for a streak-free shine!).  It looks like new again.  And I’m a happy lady.  :)

To clean the hard water spots off your glass shower door, spray DeScaler evenly over the glass.  Let set for 3-5 minutes.  Wipe off with your bathroom scrub mitt, followed by the dry window cloth.  Sparkly clean!

Any cons or downfalls of this product?  Well, this stuff does not smell the greatest (quite unlike the Sanira solution, which smells lovely!), but not terribly offensive.   The DeScaler used to be a brown, ugly color, but the new clear formula is fantastic!  If you let it dry on, you won’t be able to easily wipe it off except by spraying it down again… so make sure you don’t wait too long to wipe it off the surface. And on the subject of toilets… I’m told the DeScaler works well on lime build-up in toilets, as well.   People in our area complain of “the pink ring” in tubs and toilets.  I find that the Sanira toilet system solution does a great job getting rid of the it.  But at our house, we also have a bluish ring just at the water line that seems to have become part of the porcelain… I don’t know what this is from, but so far I’ve found nothing (toxic or otherwise) that will take it off.  I did have one customer who was trying to remove long-term hard water build-up from the textured side of her shower door, and reported that she wasn’t able to cut through it with the descaler.

So that’s my 2 cents on the DeScaler!  I’m still staring in amazement at my gunk-free faucets…
